FRATTURA DELL\u2019ANCA<\/h2>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

Definizione:<\/strong> In caso di impatto, dovuto spesso ad una caduta, l\u2019estremit\u00e0 superiore del femore si frattura. Generalmente, la frattura riguarda il collo del femore o il grande trocantere.<\/p>\n

Quali sono i trattamenti possibili?<\/strong> Spesso, i pazienti che hanno subito una frattura dell\u2019anca vengono operati d\u2019urgenza e l’osso fratturato viene sostituito da una protesi.<\/p>\n

La convalescenza?\u00a0<\/strong> Dopo l\u2019intervento chirurgico \u00e8 necessario iniziare rapidamente un percorso di rieducazione, che pu\u00f2 durare dai 3 ai 12 mesi. Il paziente deve riprendere a camminare pi\u00f9 velocemente possibile se si vuole che recuperi al meglio.<\/p>\n

Chi riguarda?<\/strong> La maggior parte delle fratture dell\u2019anca riguardano le persone anziane, in particolare le donne (75%) a causa dell\u2019osteoporosi ne rende le ossa particolarmente fragili.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I ricercatori dell\u2019istituto Virginia Tech hanno comparato l\u2019efficacia della riduzione della forza di impatto di caduta offerta dai dispositivi di protezione per anca con airbag e quella offerta dai dispositivi di protezione per anca classici.<\/p>\n

Solo i dispositivi di protezione con airbag si sono rivelati in grado di mantenere la forza di impatto AL DI SOTTO DEL VALORE SOGLIA* NOTO DI FRATTURA DELL\u2019ANCA, con una riduzione dell\u2019impatto dell\u201985%. **<\/strong><\/p>\n
